I came across an information i really needed to pass across since its for our safety.

  • I understood a lot of nigerians do not check for a product or drug expiring date before purchasing them from local grocery stores, drug stores and supermarket.

  • These really brings a lot of concerns as expired products or drugs might be sold which are very dangerous and unhealthy for human consumption. Most  especially consumption of expired drugs can cause a lot of damage to the organ leading to various health risk.

  • Also, most of the pharmaceutical drugs approved by NAFDAC has some 13 digit PIN which you see after you scratch the cover of the drugs, in which you are always instructed to send to a specific 5 digit number which are usually written beside the PIN, to get a SMS validation of the drug if it is truly approved by NAFDAC . But a lot of nigerians dont do these anymore they just buy drugs and use them even without doctors prescription. i Truly believe after reading these article we  will always take the proper way to ensure we take safety drugs and consumables.
