Late Ada Ameh Buried In Benue

The remains of Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh have been buried in her hometown in Ogobia, Otukpo LGA of Benue State, amidst tears.

We recalls that Ada slumped and died on Sunday, 17th July, barely two years after the death of her only child Aladi Godsgift.

The burial ceremony started at about 11am on Friday following a church service which had the attendance of Benue state deputy governor, Engr Benson Abounu, Benue South Senator, Abba Moro and other prominent Idoma natives.

Her colleague, Charles Inojie, in the TV show, ‘The Johnsons’ shared a video from the late actress burial with the caption; ”IT’S A WRAP FOR ADA AMEH. There lies a chip of us. Deadpan and ice-frozen. There lies a broken heritage. Wrapped in a funeral encasement

In that airtight wooden bed. Is our naked truth. No matter the differences we nursed
You can never tell. How much of us is in them.

“There again is a grim call. A charge to everyone. That none is promised tomorrow.

“That we may live today as the best of days. Spreading love beyond the bounds of our comfortable thresholds. Till the twilights dim on the hour not foretold.

“When the once sonorous symphony. Fades forever away. On the morbid horizons. Of life’s curtain fall.”

BREAKING!! Petr Cech To Come Out Of Retirement To Play For Chelsea

Petr Cech is set to make a sensational return for Chelsea, when he start for the development squad against Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League 2 tie on Monday, according to The Athletic.

Cech, who is currently the Blues’ technical and performance director, has not played in a competitive game since the 2019 Europa League final.

But he has been training with Frank Lampard’s first team, after he was registered in their Premier League 25-man squad in October.

Lucas Bergstrom, the side’s regular goalkeeper, played for the U-18 side on Saturday and the club does not want him playing two games in three days.

Croatian goalkeeper, Karlo Ziger, is usually the next choice, but he is currently part of the first-team bubble and they would rather he remain there than go through the hassle of Coronavirus testing before re-joining the first team.

Whilst Cech is also part of the bubble, Zigar is rated higher up the ranks than the Czech.

Whilst it is unclear as to why Sami Tlemcani, another youth prospect, is seemingly unable to step in, the club view the experience for Cech as crucial if he is then needed to step in for the first-team some point soon.
